Q-SYS Lua Automation
Collection of custom Lua scripts for Q-SYS systems to integrate and automate media, audio, video, lighting, and device-control workflows across live production environments.
Inside the build
- Built control scripts for external devices and services over serial, TCP, UDP, OSC, and HTTP APIs.
- Implemented integrations for Yamaha mixers, Ross Carbonite switching, ENTTEC playback control, NEC display control, and StudioTech alerting.
- Created utility logic for source selection, automated triggers, and operational helpers such as sunrise/sunset scheduling.
- Focused on practical deployment in real production systems where reliability, speed, and operator simplicity matter.
